HiLITE Group has launched construction of the Rs. 300-crore YOO Hub Trivandrum at Technopark Phase III. Developed with YOO and IWG, India’s first YOO-branded Information Technology Park will offer 5.37 lakh square feet of Grade-A workspace, create around 5,000 direct jobs, achieve Platinum green building standards, and strengthen Kerala’s technology ecosystem.

HiLITE Group has officially commenced construction of its flagship commercial project, YOO Hub Trivandrum, with a grand groundbreaking ceremony held at Technopark Phase III. The Rs. 300-crore development is expected to redefine Kerala’s technology infrastructure by creating approximately 5,000 direct employment opportunities while strengthening the state’s digital economy.

The groundbreaking ceremony was performed by P. K. Kunhalikutty, Minister for Industries, Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, in the presence of senior government officials, industry leaders, and representatives of HiLITE Group and its global partners.

Addressing the gathering, P. K. Kunhalikutty described the project as another major milestone in Kerala’s journey toward becoming a leading destination for technology and innovation. He said that India’s first branded Information Technology workspace, developed in collaboration with YOO at Technopark, reflects the confidence of global brands in Kerala. Ajil Muhammed, Chief Executive Officer of HiLITE Group, said Information Technology remains the most promising and important sector in Kerala. While the state possesses exceptional talent and a highly skilled workforce, he said there has been a shortage of premium infrastructure and multinational corporations establishing operations. He emphasized that Grade-A office spaces meeting international standards are essential and that HiLITE’s core mission is to bridge this gap by providing the infrastructure global businesses require.

Badal Saboo, YOO Associate, said it has been a privilege to bring together YOO, HiLITE, and IWG for YOO Hub Trivandrum, describing the development as a project that establishes a new benchmark for branded workplaces in India.

Developed through an exclusive collaboration between YOO and IWG, YOO Hub Trivandrum represents a significant milestone in the evolution of premium workspaces. It is India’s first YOO-branded Information Technology Park and the first Information Technology project globally under the YOO brand, introducing the company’s internationally acclaimed luxury design philosophy into the technology infrastructure sector for the first time. The collaboration also incorporates IWG’s global expertise in flexible and hybrid workspaces, creating a future-ready business destination designed to meet the changing requirements of modern enterprises.

Spread across approximately 5.37 lakh square feet on 1.88 acres, the project will include a basement, ground floor, two dedicated parking floors, and 15 premium office floors. The commercial development is designed to attract multinational corporations, Global Capability Centres, established technology companies, research institutions, and emerging digital enterprises.

The project also establishes a new benchmark in sustainable development. YOO Hub Trivandrum has already secured LEED v4.1 Building Design and Construction Core and Shell Platinum pre-certification, the highest level of technical recognition and environmental evaluation awarded by the United States Green Building Council.
